Founded in 1954 as the first cable manufacturer in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa, Electro Cable Egypt (ECE) is recognized as the origin of the cable industry in the region, with a legacy of contributing to iconic projects such as the Aswan High Dam and Cairo Tower.

With over seven decades of expertise, ECE supports government, utilities, construction, industrial, and telecom sectors by providing high-quality cables, wires, and integrated solutions. Its Telecom Services Division delivers end to end fiber optic and Telecom services covering design, implementation, installation, splicing, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and training ensuring reliable, future-ready communication networks.

Backed by highly skilled teams, advanced technologies, and strong partnerships, the division has executed major national projects including Haya Karima, in collaboration with Telecom Egypt and the Ministry of Electricity & Renewable Energy.

Through these efforts, tut plays a pivotal role in enabling smart cities, advancing digital transformation, and empowering sustainable growth across Egypt and the region.
