Back In 1986, I took the lead of the family business, controlling the first private cable factory in
EGYPT, turning it into one of the largest worldwide providers of integrated energy solutions with more than 30 production facilities in 16 countries utilizing the qualities of more than 14,000 professional and exporting a wide range of high quality & safe products to more than 110 countries around the world (Africa, Middle East, Europe & the Far East), and since 2008 ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC S.A.E. is listed in Cairo Stock Exchange.
In addition to being the President & CEO of Elsewedy Electric I’m honored to be Chairman of the Egypt China Business Council, Chairman of Egypt Ethiopia Business Council, Egypt Iraq Business Council, and Egypt Lebanon Business Council, Egypt Zambia Business Council, in addition to very active roles with America, Japan, French, South Africa, Tunisia, Algeria, Kenya, Austria,
Kuwait, UAE and Egypt Saudi business councils, and Board Member in German Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Egyptian Businessmen Association, and many other business and non-profit organizations.

I graduated with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University in 1986

I enjoy Cycling outdoors , Fishing , my family & friends and reading every day about our great Egyptian history , business and energy technology.
